Need Based Scholarships
The following Need Based Scholarships, given by private donors, are awarded at Oldenburg Academy. Tuition assistance applications are required for all of these scholarships and must be received by FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by March 1. To be considered for these scholarships, incoming freshmen must take the Placement Test and fulfill the other Freshmen Scholarship Requirements

Becky Orschell Werner Scholarship
Given to student with at least a “B” average who could not otherwise afford to attend Oldenburg Academy
Requirements:
Teacher recommendation
Handwritten essay (no more than 500 words) “How will attending Oldenburg Academy impact your life?”

Elmer G. & Rose L. Ramsdell Scholarship
Given to a young woman with at least a “B” average who could not otherwise afford to attend Oldenburg Academy

Given to a student who could not otherwise afford to attend Oldenburg Academy

Maria Duerr DeJaco Scholarship
Given to a young woman with at least a "B" average who could not otherwise afford to attend Oldenburg Academy

Mildred J. Hillenbrand Scholarship
Given to a student in the greater Batesville area who could not otherwise afford to attend Oldenburg Academy. Potential 4-year renewable scholarship.
