Memorial Scholarships

The following Memorial Scholarships, given by private donors, are awarded at Oldenburg Academy. To be considered for these scholarships, students must take the Placement Test and fulfill the other Freshmen Scholarship Requirements.

Brenda S. Vogelsang Scholarship

Given to an enrolling eighth grader who excels in science
Requirements:
Science teacher recommendation


Cleophus W. and Mary E. (Moll) Tebbe Scholarship

Given to a male Catholic student with a B+ average from the Batesville or Oldenburg area that is active in pastoral and/or community service
Requirements:
Religion teacher recommendation
Must be a practicing Catholic
Will be active in pastoral and/or community service


Connie Prickel Metz Scholarship

Given to a Catholic student from the Batesville, Oldenburg, or Morris area with at least a B+ average
Requirements:
Teacher recommendation


Herb & June Moenter Music Scholarship

Given to a Catholic student with a love for music, who will share that love with the school and community. This scholarship pays for private music lessons for one year.
Requirements: 
Must be a practicing Catholic
Music teacher recommendation
Submission of Request for Audition form
Auditions will be held in the beginning of February. The OA music department will contact each applicant to schedule an audition time.


Rosemary (Doll) Dierckman and Melanie Dierckman Memorial Scholarship


DEADLINE: March 15, 2013
This scholarship is available to all Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors currently attending Oldenburg Academy, as well as current 8th graders who plan to attend Oldenburg Academy in the Fall of 2013. Applicants must be a registered member of St. Louis Church in Batesville. Applications are available in the front office, guidance office, admissions office and St. Louis Parish office and are due to the Oldenburg Academy Admission's Office by Friday, March 15th.
